About Bodington

10 good Reasons to use Bodington

  1. A simple way to put material on the web
Many staff put up their handouts, lecture slides, reading lists, and so on. Bodington avoids having to rely on IT support officers mounting information. You can just put your word files, powerpoint slides, excel spreadsheets, and so on, straight onto the Web.
  2. Allows you to experiment with more advanced and interactive tools
Bodington comes with tools for you to use quickly and easily such as discussion rooms, MCQs, questionnaires, pigeon-holes and reflective logbooks - all set up with a few clicks. Some are using these for surveys, student feedback tools, or tests to assist revision.
  3. Easily control access to your material
Bodington can contain information about every staff member and student presently at your institution so you can create groups, populate those groups with the users you select, and restrict access to your material to members of that group.
  4. Access your material anywhere in the world
Staff can author and control access to material, and students can access it from anywhere in the world: access is controlled by logon not IP address.
  5. Reduction in paperwork
Handbooks can be stored centrally, reducing the need to provide extra copies when printed materials are lost, internal documents can be made available on-line rather than circulated on paper, and so on. Bodington allows easy creation of student feedback questionnaires online so feedback is automatically collated.
  6. Allows you to keep in touch with students out of class
If you want to provide information and announcements to students outside of class, or create a facility for them to discuss issues with each other, Bodington provides a facility so you can quickly set up a threaded discussion group.
